Max Can't Lift His Right Arm, Couldn't Dress Himself This Morning....Hopes To Pitch In A Potential Game 7

Sports, man. Crazy. One second we have Gerrit Cole vs Max Scherzer pt 2 in the World Series, and the next second Scherzer can’t even lift his pitching arm and can barely move. Insane. I said in the previous blog even if his pain was a 9.9/10 he would still pitch, this would have to be a 13/10, and it turns out it was at least a 13.

And then of course he says he hopes to be ready for game 7. Just a little cortisone shot to the neck and back on the rubber. It seems…well I don’t know. I don’t know how this stuff works. Just seems super scary that he woke up this morning unable to move and he wants to pitch in a few days. But if the doctors say he’s fine, then I guess he’s fine. How about the Nats win in 6 and we don’t have to worry about it?

All in all, a ridiculous turn of events. Joe Ross, make magic happen baby.
