Another day, another dream realized for a young Blackhawks fan. I never get tired of these videos. As I said yesterday with the Darling/Make-A-Wish blog, the Blackhawks do a great job of giving back to the community. It’s nice to see a kid dealt such a tough hand at birth with a big and genuine smile on her face. It also has to be a great moment for the parents. I can’t imagine how taxing it must be to watch and guide your kid through an illness like that. So a nice break in the routine that makes their kid happy must mean so much to them as well. Great job by the Blackhawks.
PS: My goal for the #WhatsYourGoal Campaign…to not get teary eyed at my desk when I see these videos.
