It's Awesome Seeing Victor Oladipo Play Live Basketball Again

Now this is something you love to see. We haven't seen much from Oladipo on his road to recovery from his ruptured quad back in January, there had been some shooting videos here and there

and as they should the Pacers are being super cautious with their franchise player. There are chirps of a December/January return, and the team has said he's going to be reevaluated in a month, but seeing him play 5-on-5 already is certainly exciting for Pacers fans. After losing their opener at home to the Pistons it's pretty clear this team needs a talent like Oladipo, and as someone who has lived through rehab videos of a very important player I understand fully the importance of seeing anything and everything that's leaked out on social media. You may think this isn't a big deal as a non Pacer fan, but if you root for this team this is the best thing you could ever see. Don't forget, before Oladipo got hurt he was having an All Star caliber season and showed some true growth as a #1 option. That's what made his injury suck so bad, Oladipo was playing really well for a Pacers team that was a surprise 3 seed at the time and everything changed in an instant.

Of course, there's a huge difference in playing 5-on-5 in practice and then competing in an NBA game. Everyone knows that, but this is still awesome to see. If you're a basketball fan in general you know the league is better with Oladipo in it, and hopefully this is all pointing to a return sooner rather than later. If we're at full contact already and it's not even November, I'd say that's a great sign.

In the event you may have forgotten just how nasty Oladipo was last year, here's what's on the horizon
