Pablo Escobar's Brother Is Going After Elon Musk In A Flamethrower Battle

Billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has been stirring up some trouble this month both at home & abroad. First came reports that the U.S. military wound up spending $5M in taxpayer dollars on audits stemming from Musk’s puff of marijuana on the Joe Rogan podcast

And now there’s news that Roberto Escobar (brother of infamous kingpin Pablo Escobar, & co founder of the Medellín Cartel) is on Musk’s tail, flamethrowers blazin’….

From The Sun:

PABLO Escobar’s brother has vowed to “take down” Elon Musk, claiming the tech billionaire stole his idea for a novelty flamethrower.

Roberto Escobar, 72, former accountant to his drug trafficker sibling, says he discussed the idea with one of Musk’s engineers during a visit to the Escobar compound in the summer of 2017.

So allegedly some Musk engineers visit Escobar’s compound in 2017 & then suddenly in 2018 the internet was on fire with the release of Musk’s Boring Company propane-powered Not A Flamethrower. They quickly sold out and only the coolest, hottest, most fashionable people got their hands on them.

Escobar was enraged to see ‘his idea stolen’ and,

…alleges that he suggested the concept to Musk’s engineer months before they were released, and that it had been inspired by his brother’s purported habit of burning money as an alternative to heating.

First of all, what were Musk’s engineers doing hanging out at the Escobar compound? And “burning money as an alternative to heating”?! It’s estimated that the late Escobar would be worth nearly $50 BILLION today and if he were still here I can only imagine a cold winters night with a pile of Columbian pesos & a flamethrower. Cozy & toasty…

In response to Escobar saying that Musk ‘stole’ the idea for his flamethrower, Musk responded with a bit of snark:

Undeterred, Escobar added that he was to “begin managing Cuban hip-hop artist Icy Narco, and that they would next week be releasing a “hate song” targeting Musk and titled Pablo Escobar“.

*Icy Narco appears to be a colder version of Tekashi 6ix9ine.

He also said he had plans for a business venture that would topple computing giant Apple, though said he could not discuss details.

“I need around four years to make it bigger than Apple,” he said. Things move fast in technology.”

Interested to see how this plays out. The Escobars seem off their rocker, but I still don’t know if I’d want them mad at me.
