It Blows My Mind That I Just Watched Footage From The Last Time Washington Was In The World Series In 1933
This is one of those “technology is amazing” blogs. BECAUSE TECHNOLOGY IS AMAZING!!! Yes, I wrote that in Aziz Ansari’s voice. It’s just so remarkable. I love footage of old-timey baseball. It’s so pure. Everyone in the crowd in their top hats, the pitchers’ outrageous windups, how it always looks like they are running in fast-forward, all of it.
The program was great…though 10 cents seems a bit steep, no?
And boy do I wish we could bring back ads like this.

Times have changed for sure, but pretty cool for DC to have a team back in the World Series. The Senators lost that series in 1933, hopefully there’s a different outcome 86 years later.
