Adam Schefter Has Known About The Dez Bryant Tape "Since September", Also I Have A New Theory

Carmen and Jurko: What’s going on with Dez Bryant?

Adam Schefter: That’s a very interesting question. I’ll just say this – check back with me on that one.

Carmen and Jurko: Have you heard about this video? Do you know what’s on it?

Schefter: Yeah. 

Carmen and Jurko: Have you seen it?

Schefter: I have not seen it.

Carmen and Jurko: Is he doing something criminal? Can you talk about it?

Schefter: I’ll say this: I’ve been working on this since September.

Carmen and Jurko: Is it criminal?

Schefter: Like I said I’ve been working on it since September. There’s a lot involved.

Carmen and Jurko: Is this going to come out?

Schefter: Don’t know. Don’t know yet.

Carmen and Jurko: Okay. Wow. I have never heard about this until the weekend and now it’s all over the internet

Schefter: It’s taken up a lot of my time this season I’ll say that.

Carmen and Jurko: And you did it in a very clandestine way it sounds like. Did you feel like you had to?

Schefter: Well listen, whatever we’ve been working on is not ready and maybe it never will be. Who knows? You’ve got to be very careful on these things. People can talk about videos, they can talk about this they can talk about that. The fact of the matter is, it doesn’t mean anything and it’s really not fair to him right now until you have all your facts in line. Which we spent a long time trying to do.

Fucking Schefty, he’s all over this guys, even though no one knows exactly what “this” is, he’s on “it”, he’s in the “know”, he had it first.

I’ve got a new theory on this whole Dez Bryant tape situation. Just came up with it on the rundown and I honestly can’t find a hole anywhere. What if there just isn’t a tape at all? What if some of Dez’s old friends know that he used to get into some serious shit, that he used to be a less than model citizen, and basically said to Dez, hey man, we have that tape of you doing that thing. And Dez immediately said fuck, you  mean the one of me doing THAT thing? Yup, that one. And boom, a tape is made.

And there’s  the rub. No tape ever had to exist. Dez Bryant knows there are probably tapes out there of him doing something, he can’t confirm it but it’s just more than likely that they exist. So you create a story about a fake tape, float it out there on his contract year and then get a ton of hush money for a tape that isn’t even real. Extortion 101. It’s a genius scam. One I plan on replicating with my  boss in the future. I have tapes. Who knows what are on the tapes, but I have tapes.

Also for the record, if a tape does come out of him doing something awful just want it to be clear we were in the Spin Zone.

The new thing being reported is that he hit a woman at a Wal-Mart. So you’re telling me hit a woman in public at a Wal-Mart over 6 months ago with zero witnesses and no one releasing the footage or cops being called? I’m having a hard time believing that one.
