You know how you know when somebody is truly captivating? When you’ll listen to them tell the same story over and over and over. I mean I know this story. I could tell you every detail of it. Charles gets mail, goes to McDonald’s, then rescues a white girl who’s been kidnapped for 10 years. But if you put a camera on Charles Ramsey and stick a microphone in his face, I’ll grab a knee and listen to his tale every single time.

And I love Charles saying they should give the reward money to Amanda Berry because “he’s got a job.” Extremely admirable, no doubt. But it’s my experience that when you live next door to crazed kidnappers you could always stand to move up a peg or two in life.
