LA Kings Prospect Pulled Off "The Michigan" In The OHL And It Was Gorgeous

There is nothing like seeing “The Michigan” pulled off during live play. LA Kings prospect Arthur Kaliyev, a member of the Hamilton Bulldogs in the OHL, pulled off the lacrosse style goal playing against the Barrie Colts on Tuesday afternoon.

You may remember Kaliyev from the NHL draft this past summer. A first-round talent who put up 102 points last year in the O and fell in the draft due to his work ethic and attitude. If you have the talent Kaliyev does and are able to put up 100 points in the OHL, you shouldn’t be falling out of the 1st round. But that was the case with the Uzbekistan born forward, who went 33rd overall to the Kings.

There is a reason Kaliyev is back in the OHL this season, regardless if he dominates like he has been (example above) he still has a lot to work on with his game if he wants to make an NHL roster. The way the Kings season has been going they could probably use someone who could put the puck in the net though.
