Soft South Carolina AD Apologizes For Team Ripping Up Hedges After Win At Georgia

The best moment from the past college football weekend was South Carolina ripping off part of Georgia hedges after taking down the #3 team in the nation.

It was phenomenal. Almost everybody who loves college football thought it was phenomenal. The only ones who didn’t? Georgia fans. Disrespectful this, disrespectful that. Dawg Nation was driving the wahhhhhbulance all weekend long. Even their AD was mad:

SOURCE-Georgia AD Greg McGarity was among those displeased over the incident and told DawgNation:

“I don’t like it all. We sure don’t do that when we win at an opponents’ venue under [head coach Kirby Smart’s] leadership.”

I thought that was the end of the story. However, South Carolina’s AD decided he was going to “apologize” for his teams actions:

SOURCE-UGA athletics director Greg McGarity told DawgNation that South Carolina athletics director Ray Tanner contacted him on Sunday afternoon.

“Ray just apologized for those actions,” McGarity told DawgNation.

I put “apologize” in quotations because there’s no way he is actually sorry. These are damn hedges we are talking about. News flash: they are going to grow back. If they aren’t, they can just go to Lowes and buy a replacement.

At the end of Drake’s ‘Draft Day’ song, he recreates a phenomenal moment from Colorado coach Dan Hawkins, who ironically kinda looks like Kirby Smart:

“It’s the SEC! Heck, you pledged didn’t ya! Go play intramurals, brother! Go play intramurals!”

If you don’t like the hedges being torn up? Either win the game or go play intramurals, brother. Go plays intramurals.
