As manager for the Nats, Davey Johnson is used to a lot of "firsts" with his team. First playoff series win was this season, first trip to the NLCS, and here we see him with the first inside-the-park homer for the Rays. People forget he played for the Rays, in-fact it was so long ago that they were called the Devil Rays, and have those fire uniforms. Chad Curtis had this ball dive-bomb underneath his glove, and Davey was off to the races. It's also crazy that the ballpark used to look so much worse. Just so ugly. How can you make a field worse than what the Trop is now? Idk, but the Rays did it.
