What I’m about to say is NOT going to help my reputation as Dana White’s “little twink” who does nothing but suck the dick of the UFC, but I don’t even care. I’m just gonna say it – I can’t remember the last time a fight was this perfectly promoted.

From the initial callout, and inception of the Baddest Motherfucker In The Game Championship…

…to the “PARENTAL ADVISORY” inspired poster…

…to The Rock being the one to strap the title around the victor’s waist, and this being a Madison Square Garden main event – literally all of it – has been phenomenally done.

You know what the best part is, too? This is literally the UFC playing into fans’ desires. Months ago, in March, when I kicked my podcast off with my very first interview of Dana White, he made it clear that a non-title fight could NOT main event a pay-per-view, and that they especially wouldn’t just create a championship so that a fight could take a main event spot. Fans said FUUUUUUCK THAT, because that’s a pretty boring line of thinking, and the UFC realized that, and set this up!

Now, they’re seeing crazier projections for this fight since anything post-Mayweather/McGregor!

Just goes to show ya – as long as you put two bad motherfuckers in that cage, we’ll watch. You jazz it up like this, though, and I think the whole world will be watching.
