Draymond Green Refuses To Accept His New Official Height Of 6'5

New Orleans Pelicans v Golden State Warriors

Now that the NBA has decided they actually need to be serious about the age and height of their players, we’re starting to see the new official measurements come out and it’s impacting a large number of players. Here’s a quick example

Well one of those guys who learned he was actually two inches shorter than he was previously reported at does not seemed thrilled. For whatever reason Draymond does not want to accept this new height of 6’5

Now here’s the thing and where Draymond kind of loses me. He seems to be adamant about proving that he’s 6’6, but then in the caption on his story he says 6’5. That seems contradictory. I don’t really see what the big deal is, 6’5 or 6’6 or 6’7 who cares? Draymond is still one of the best defenders in the NBA, he already got his extension, this all seems like something silly to care so much about. Also, we didn’t see if that tape actually touched the floor and we’re talking about a matter of inches here. If anything I would embrace being able to dominate defensively the way Draymond does while only being 6’5 rather then get emotional about it and have to put out videos on social media about how tall you really are. I could get if you were really 6’0 and someone listed you as 5’10 or something, but 6’5 to 6’6? Seems like a nonissue to me.

As long as he does stuff like this

nobody is going to care how tall he is. I will say though if there was one player who you could predict would make an issue out of this, Draymond had to be high on that list.
