Today’s Pardon My Take included an awesome interview with actor Gary Busey. For every guest that comes on the show, Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter do a great amount of research and prep on whoever is coming on, which of course starts the momentum towards great questions and answers. But for Gary Busey, it really didn’t matter what Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter had lined up: this interview was all over the place, but in a very positive, entertaining way. Take a look for yourself:
During the interview, Busey also promoted his new book, “Buseyisms.” It’s basically a work of art that breaks down common, everyday words and Busey turns each letter of that word into an acronym that “reflects the word’s meaning and definition.” Or in other words, acronyms on steroids. I don’t know about you, but I was on the edge of my seat every time Busey went through the process of completing each and every one of these. The tone in which he delivered the Buseyisms combined with his riveting personality makes for awesome content.
Busey’s Off Broadway musical “Only Human” starts this month in new York City and there were talks of a potential Pardon My Take crew field trip to see this show. If that becomes the case, it’ll be interesting to hopefully learn some new “Buseyisms” along the way.
