Rory McIlroy Dumps Caroline Wozniacki Because She Tweeted Out A Mean Picture Of Him
Daily Star – The sports stars have been dating for the past two years. But their relationship is believed to have ended in recent weeks. McIlroy has struggled with form this year, with ex-pros blaming his high-profile relationship. The pair were reported to have broken up earlier this summer, although they later denied those rumours. Nine-time major winner Gary Player recently told the 24-year-old his “women problems” could be harming his game. And the Northern Irish star appears to have taken Player’s advice, by ditching Wozniacki. It is thought the 23-year-old’s decision to post a ‘mean’ photo of McIlroy on Twitter was the final straw. The Dane shared a snap of a jet-lagged McIlroy asleep with his mouth open to her 500,000 followers. “Rory was very upset by it and even [tennis star] Serena Williams pointed out – albeit in a joking way – it was a pretty mean thing to do,” a source told the Irish Sunday Independent. The pal said Wozniacki is struggling to accept McIlroy’s decision, but that it is “best in the long run”. “There were a lot of tears. She still has her profile picture on her social-networking site set as the two of them in happier times, but I can tell you the pair are no longer an item,” they said. “Rory has a lot of respect for Caroline and their time together was good, but he feels it’s time to move on now. And he wishes her nothing but the best.”

No professional athlete should ever have any sort of committed girlfriend, wife or relationship in general. Especially one with another star athlete who probably acts like her shit don’t stink.
