A Bad DC Sports Day Is Turned Around Thanks To The Living Legends Max Scherzer and Ryan Zimmerman #NutsAboutTheNats

2019 NLDS Game 4 - Los Angeles Dodgers v. Washington Nationals

What a legend, what an absolute legend. Ryan Zimmerman deserves it all. First ever draft pick out of UVA, the man has given his career to the Nats, battled every injury in the book, and now is delivering in the clutch in the playoffs.

And speaking of clutch, the other legend, Max Scherzer.

Did his normal “give up a first inning home run” bit then settled down and dominated. Even if he was on his B game tonight, he still powered through 109 pitches and allowed it to go straight to Doo and then Hudson to close it out. Less middle relief the better and Max gave us exactly what we needed.

So now game 5 in LA. Strasburg who is a playoff GOAT vs Walker Buehler who threw a 6 inning, 1 hit, 8k gem in game 1. I trust Strasburg in this spot with my heart and soul, so we’ll see you Wednesday at 8:37. Hit the music PFT!
