Shaq Dropped A Second Damian Lillard Diss Track, This Time Calling Him A Scrub That Won't Win Shit
Well, good Monday morning to everyone. Here we are with the 4th and I doubt final installment of Shaq vs Damian Lillard. Quite frankly, I can’t get enough of it. They are starting to not hold back and throw some serious punches at each other in the world of diss tracks. Remember it all started because Damian Lillard went on Joe Budden’s podcast and said he was a better rapper.

So Shaq fired off the first diss track. He calls him a worse player than Trevor Ariza – an all-time ricochet shot at Ariza though. ‘Talking like you Bron but you ain’t even Trevor Ariza.’ is just such a goddamn ruthless line. But, I think what I really like from Shaq is bringing up that he can’t hold a candle to Russ or Steph Curry, especially because Russ and Lillard have a rivalry.
Then Dame fired back the next day. His whole attack was that Shaq needed help from Kobe/Wade to win titles. He goes after Shaq’s past and brings back up how he’s not really a rapper, he’s a comedian/announcer.
Then we get to this past Friday and Dame dropped ANOTHER diss track. This time he really goes in though. To me this one ended it. I don’t know how Shaq was going to respond to Dame’s last diss track. Again, Dame is a legit rapper. He knows what he’s doing and the bars just sound so much better than Shaq’s.

So let’s get into this from Shaq. First off the name? Second Round Knockout sets it all up. It’s all about Lillard not winning in the playoffs. Now, he did get to the Western Conference Finals this year so it’s not entirely accurate but it’s the premise of the diss here. As predicted by everyone Shaq had a nerve struck with the Kobe comment:
‘That little Kobe comment had me grinning, 3 times Finals MVP at least I’m winning.’
Then he brings up Lillard complaining about the All Star votes which is just hilarious. Nothing makes less sense or less valuable than how fans vote for the All Star Game. But Lillard was pissed off about it.
‘The world gonna see you fall, I’m gonna do to you what Rondo did to Chris Paul’
And then Shaq drops a line that has me howling laughing. ‘I don’t like your ass and I don’t like Charles Barkley either.’ Oh, okay. This is in response to Lillard saying Shaq tries to go after Barkley and then be his bestie. I’ve said it before but the Shaq/Barkley fighting is a bit tiresome because it’s the same thing with Shaq just saying that Barkley didn’t win shit. I’m very much Team Chuck on this one.

So here we are, 4 diss tracks in. I love the move by Shaq to go with the beat to Victory. But, it’s not the best comeback to what Dame did on Friday. I still think Dame has him, but what do you think?
