Michael Bay's ThunderCats Movie That Is Actually Just A Vigilante Action Film Gets A Trailer

Okay. Not sure how I feel about this? It looks like cool action, but that isn't really what I want to discuss...

The saga of figuring out what the fuck this movie actually is about was a great few weeks in the movie world.

The internet ran wild with the rumor... until Ryan Reynolds debunked it a few days later.

So now, we have this!

What's the best part of being dead? It isn't escaping your boss, your ex, or even erasing your criminal record. The best part about being dead…is the freedom. The freedom to fight the injustice and evil that lurk in our world without anyone or anything to slow you down or tell you “no.”

6 Underground introduces a new kind of action hero. Six individuals from all around the globe, each the very best at what they do, have been chosen not only for their skill, but for a unique desire to delete their pasts to change the future. The team is brought together by an enigmatic leader (Ryan Reynolds), whose sole mission in life is to ensure that, while he and his fellow operatives will never be remembered, their actions damn sure will.

Anything with Ryan Reynolds is a must-watch at this point (the Pikachu movie was mediocre at best) but the big thing that sticks out here is this: Michael Bay, director.

Over the last 10 years, Bay has failed to make a movie approved by critics (he has only one fresh movie on Rotten Tomatoes in his career) and has only one movie approved by audiences.

From 1995 through 2007, Bay found a way to make movies people enjoyed seeing in theaters. Were they all good? No, some were even pretty bad, but he seems to have lost his touch over the course of his run with Transformers movie.

The pairing with Netflix and his first movie in two years, '6 Underground' might be a breath of fresh air for the director.

I am looking forward to the movie, mostly because the team-up of Reynolds and Bay is intriguing. But it does have the potential to just flat out stink. '6 Underground' releases on December 13th. What are your thoughts?
