Antonio Brown Has Clapped Back At Baker Mayfield And This Could Become A Social Media Beef For The Ages

Alright so yesterday afternoon Baker Mayfield decided to take a pretty unprovoked shot on Antonio Brown in the comment section of Baker’s latest Me Against The World Instagram post….

Again, Baker, why? I love your fire but let’s WIN a couple games first. I’m fine with you needing to think that the whole world doubts you to give you that chip on your shoulder, but are you seriously reading comments? You have to get thousands upon thousands of comments and replies to everything you post on social media, so why does “Laska24″ get under your skin for comparing you to AB? You had no prior issues with Antonio Brown. We have a monumental game tomorrow. And this was probably some 45 year old dude sitting in his Mom’s basement, and he got to you. But alas, that’s our quarterback, and he couldn’t bite his tongue.

And if you think AB was just going to sit back and take it, you’re crazier than he is. He woke up this morning and starting firing….

I know that Antonio Brown has a couple thousand screws loose and I know that I’m a homer Browns fan, but isn’t he 100% right in this situation? Baker hasn’t really done anything yet in the league, and he’s playing pretty poorly this year while Lamar Jackson is absolutely tearing it up. And he took an unprovoked shot at the 7x Pro Bowler.

I’m just so glad that AB was able to put his college class work aside for a second and respond though, because this is the social media beef that America needs right now. The Baker I know always gets in the last word, and he’s not afraid to take some pretty personal shots at people — examples: Rex Ryan and Colin Cowherd. Well, the only person with less of a filter in these types of things is current Central Michigan student Antonio Brown. I hope this one continues. Both parties involved have officially had their tweet notifications turned on in my phone. I’m here for this.

And as much as I want the Browns to win on Sunday and move into 1st place in the AFC North, if Lamar Jackson outplays Baker in a big way, no way AB doesn’t chime in. And no way Baker doesn’t answer.
