MASSIVE NBA/Barstool News: Kevin Durant Loves KFC Radio And Damian Lillard Thinks Jack Mac Is An Idiot
Some major news coming in the NBA and Barstool world. We have major NBA talents finding their niche as content here at Barstool. And what better way to create content than creating controversy and aligning yourself with other people.
First we have Kevin Durant becoming the third or fourth (if they ever let Kmarko back on) host of KFC Radio. I mean he’s out here saying we’re all betas. That’s as KFC Radio as it gets.
I fucking hate Kevin Durant because he didn’t pick the Knicks, so it’ll feel good to have another rival here. But a big get for the first podcast here at Barstool. Shout out John and KFC for landing Kevin Durant.
But the big news for me is Damian Lillard calling Jack Mac (and ESPN) an idiot.
You may remember Jack’s take:
Called him the most overrated player in the NBA. Click the blog to read his explanation in the tweet (tried to link it, but naturally our site isn’t working correctly. Barstool difference y’all). Really he’s arguing that there are no statistics that back up Klay being a top guy.

Two guys who watch too much basketball and give our educated take against Jack. Now, I should preface that Jack is my guy. Love Jack. Big Jack guy. He’s one of the guys I talk to the most here at Barstool. It made my day seeing Damian Lillard – a professional basketball player and one that is quite good call him (and ESPN) an idiot. That’s what happens when you rank Klay in the 40’s for the upcoming season. Even if it’s a season that he might not play and is still viewed as a top-50 guy.
Note: KD was not on the list. If Klay was healthy, where would I rank him? He’s a top-15 guy in the NBA for me. There’s absolutely no bigger disparity in basketball than in difference in perception between Klay as a player and what the advanced numbers say.
I look forward to meeting my two new co-workers though. I think the Barstool rec team might actually get a win or two rec basketball now.
