Oh No Sparty, Don't Lose Like That!
Down 10-7 with less than 10 seconds on the clock, Michigan State tapped on their kicker to send the game into OT. It was a bizarre situation, where they waited until the play clock was at 15 seconds to run the FG unit onto the field. It was bizarre, because MSU could’ve just spiked the ball and reset. Their kicker nailed the FG to tie the game and send it into OT with 2 seconds on the play clock.
Because of the late decision, chaos ensued and MSU sent 1 too many men on the field. They celebrated, but then a review happened (a flag wasn’t thrown initially).
