Head Into The Weekend With A Video Of Paul Bissonnette Fighting With Two Torn ACLs
It’s funny, Biz sent us a picture the other day in our Spittin’ Chiclets group chat that the San Jose Sharks AHL team had just posted on Instagram. The crazy thing about the picture? He was fighting on two torn ACL’s in his final hockey game. So figured I’d find the video and put it in blog form for some weekend motivation.
Biz has told the story a few times now on Spittin’ Chiclets. He was playing in what he expected to be his final pro hockey game ever with an already torn ACL, well leave it to Biz to tear his other ACL mid game. Instead of just hanging it up and calling it a career, Biz pulled the ultimate hockey guy move and went out there for one more fight.
I pump Biz’s tires more than anyone but this guy deserves ALL the praise for this one. You have to have some balls to fight in pro hockey. You have to have some big balls to drop the gloves when you have a torn ACL. You basically have to have the biggest nuts on the planet to get in a fight when you have TWO torn ACLs and Biz did just that.
So anytime you think your down and out this weekend, maybe a girl doesn’t answer your text or you get rejected at the bar, think about Biz getting back on the ice and fighting with two torn ACLs. (100 percent had a kill after the game too)
