(Source) - A homeowner filed a lawsuit against Houston Rockets guard James Harden over damages that occurred when he rented a Beverley Hills mansion.

TMZ Sports reported the owner, George Santopietro, said Harden paid $82,200 for a weeklong stay at the mansion, signing a rental agreement that said he could not have any more than seven guests. Santopietro said Harden had two parties during the weeklong stay that featured more than 15 people.

He is suing Harden for $300,000, the amount he typically charges for two parties at the $30 million mansion, along with punitive damages.

According to the report, Santopietro attempted to settle with Harden out of court but was rebuffed. He also said neighbors were upset and property damage occurred during the parties. Details on the damages were not made available.

Harden has not publicly commented on the lawsuit

I don’t to get on George Santopietro here, but you might have to be the dumbest motherfucker on the planet to think that when James Harden rents your mansion for a week and drops 82K that he’s just going to keep it chill and not have parties. This is James Harden we’re talking about here. The same man that reportedly had his jersey retired at a strip club for all the money he spent there. A guy that is going to hit the club no matter what, even devastating playoff losses

If you ask someone to describe James Harden they’d probably say one of the best offensive talents the league has ever seen and a guy who loves to party his dick off. So yeah, of course he had two parties during the week long stay. Isn’t that why you rent a Beverly Hills mansion in the first place? So you can have parties and not fuck up your own stuff. I feel like if James Harden approaches you about renting your house you have to know this going in. Putting a stupid no party clause or whatever isn’t going to stop him. Thinking he’s only going to have 7 people over is laugh out loud funny. I bet his entourage is more people than that by itself and we haven’t even factored in the strippers.

I will say though, to you and me 300k may seem like a lot of money, but let’s not forget this is what Harden is working with

pretty sure that’s ashtray money for him which is why I find it weird that he didn’t just settle out of court. No judge or jury is going to believe that James Harden did not throw two parties. This guy claims that Harden knew he was going to be throwing the parties the whole time before he signed this rental agreement and that’s why he’s so mad. Uhhhhhhh ya think?

The moral of the story is clearly that I need to find a way to get myself a 14,500 sq ft mansion in Beverly Hills. James Harden can throw as many parties as he wants and I promise I won’t sue him as long as I get can invite. As a fellow Sun Devil I feel like that goes without saying.
