RIPIP To The Hooters Hotel & Casino In Vegas

We’ve learned exclusively Hooters Casino is now under contract with hotel operator Highgate and the company plans to make Hooters Las Vegas an Oyo brand hotel.
Our sources say the Hooters restaurant at Hooters hotel-casino will close after the hotel rebrands. The Hooters restaurant inside the Hooters resort is said to be the most profitable in the company’s entire chain.
I’m a pretty big Vegas person. I love table games and just enjoy the ambiance of the city/how it came to be in the older years. One of my first blogs when we went full time was about Circus Circus. I had visited CC a couple weeks before that and it was unlike any place I’ve ever seen…until I went to the Hooters Casino this past May.
It didn’t quite have the characters that Circus Circus had, but it was without a doubt one of the saddest gambling establishments that I’ve ever been to. From the stench of the casino to the marquee promoting $1 blackjack and free parking it was just very rough. I’m sure people are wondering why I even went in the first place, but it’s a goal of mine to hit a couple new ones every time I go so for better or worse I had to cross Hooters off the list. I’m sorry that this is kind of one of those blogs that only really applies if you went before, but I felt like I owed it a goodbye for any reader who has been there.

Pretty crazy that the restaurant inside is the most profitable one worldwide. I have no idea why it’s crazy, but it surprised me for some reason and I like Hooters the restaurant itself alot. Great vibe and good wings.
P.S. – One of the wildest facts about Whitesoxdave that more people should know is that every time he goes to Vegas he stays at Hooters. He always tries to use the excuse of how he’s never in the room so he doesn’t care, but I don’t buy it. WSD is a $1 BJ fiend and loves the wild factor of possibly being able to bring a waitress back up to the WSD den.
