Ozzy Osbourne Has A Freaking Feature On Post Malone's New Album

Post Malone’s highly anticipated third record entitled ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ dropped today, and much to the surprise of everybody in the fucking world, Ozzy Osbourne has a feature on it. The Prince of Darkness provides vocals on ‘Take What You Want’, a track that also features Travis Scott, and I gotta tell ya – it’s pretty fucking fire.

I’m part of the crew that really loved ‘Stoney’, Post’s debut, and sorrrrrrrrta hated the follow-up ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’. It had a few hits I enjoyed for sure – the usual suspects of ‘rockstar’, ‘Psycho’, ‘Better Now’, etc – but over everything else, felt like the same song copied and pasted twenty times over, which is what most of trap music sounds like to me, to be honest. I know that ain’t a popular opinion to have right now, but it just doesn’t agree with my ears. I’m glad you all enjoy it, I’m just looking for other shit. More melodic shit. More out-of-the-box shit. More instrumental shit. More of the shit that ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ provides.

After like three listens, I’m all in on this one. There ain’t a single song I skip. There’s fun songs that sound like perfect Summer beach jams (just in time for the Fall) and songs that sound like they could be in a Creed montage. I also think the weirder this album gets, the better, as proven by ‘Allergic’, which sounds like it could be a Vampire Weekend, or, at times, an Amy Winehouse song. My only real gripe is that there’s a lot of tracks – particularly at the end of the record – that look to be trying to cheat the streaming system the same way ‘Old Town Road’ did, with a super short runtime. Look at this shit…

There’s some good songs on the verge of being great in there. Whatever though, I ain’t complaining too much. It’s rare we even even a 51 minute drop nowadays, and even more rare XXL is tweeting about Ozzy.

Check it out. Maybe you’ll dig it.
