What a pickle that title puts Philly fans in. Jimmy Rollins at the plate vs the Nats and a baby Bryce Harper. Rollins rips one high into right field, Harper fades back and attempts to make a leaping grab. Attempts is the key word there. He misjudges it and misses the ball by about a foot. Harper falls to the ground, rolls around on the warning track, his normal routine when he bangs into the padding. Meanwhile, the ball literally comes to a rest in right field. Rollins is rounding third before Harper even has the ball in his hands. He does fire a rocket home, but Rollins was way too fast for that. Maybe the easiest inside the park homer ever for Jimmy. Rollins was so damn good for a period of time, I know he won an MVP but I feel like he was never looked as an elite player, he had some really, really good years. Not a chance he has to buy a beer for himself in Philly.
