Aaron Judge Has Entered God Mode And The Yankees Are Destroying The World Again

It’s amazing that after getting swept in Oakland the Yankees ended up going 5-4 on this west coast trip, winning the last two series in easy fashion. They responded in the most perfect way possible: great pitching and great offense.

Gary got things going today with this two run laser down the left field line that just stayed fair. He also threw two runners out in this game. Sucks that he knows nothing about baseball and is fat and lazy. Who would want this guy? Not me that’s for sure.

The Yankees were still playing Seattle, and a lefty was on the mound, so rightfully so Mike Ford went deep. He’s tomorrow’s guest on The Short Porch where we talk about the ridiculous run that he’s on. The Pride of fucking Princeton baby. The son of two doctors. Born of the 4th of July. And to round things out, Aaron Judge blasted his 18th homer of the year. He’s in God Mode and cannot be stopped.

After his 9th inning double he’s now 13 for his last 30. Today’s bomb gave him six homers during the road trip. Ever since that rock bottom 0 for 5, 4 strikeout game against Cleveland he’s been a completely different player. It’s so much fun watching 2017 Judge all over again. The league is so fucked.

The negatives today came from Paxton, who had three no hit innings to start things off, but walked four guys in the 4th and gave up a two run homer (his only hit allowed). It was a mixed bag for sure with some good and some bad. Overall he was fine. We’ll take it. Just pray that 4th inning doesn’t show up in October. Gio Urshela left the game mid-way through and was replaced by Didi. They’re calling it groin tightness. Hold your breath for now.

The Yankees are now 41 games over .500. They’re getting Voit back on Friday. Didi is already back. Severino and Montgomery will be throwing for AAA Scranton this weekend. Stanton is taking BP. Edwin is doing baseball activities. Dellin threw off a mound and had a good day. Good God…
