Shout out to the team from Louisiana for brining home the big trophy in the LLWS yesterday, always love to see that. Watching the game reminded me of 2 things…. I used to love the title game but then learned to hate it because that meant school started the next day. The second thing it reminded me of was that Cody Bellinger was a damn good player for Arizona when he was playing in Williamsport. Just a quick look at his highlights here as he laced 3 hits including a homer. Oppo power like you read about. Always neat when the little kids playing on the tiny fields turn out to become one of the best players in the sport. Also, I think we need Gary Thorne to do the games all the time, just a thought.
