Will Someone PLEASE Stop Putting Goddamn Microphones In Front Of The Giants Front Office Guys?

This goddamn franchise. There was a time where I was always confident in the Giants. I’d be anxious this time of the year waiting for the season to start because I felt like the Giants had a decent chance to win the division and potentially get to the Super Bowl again. Times were fun.

But now? Now, I just dread every single time I see the Giants in the news. It’s never good. It’s always someone getting injured, a coach making a dumb decision or Mara/Gettleman saying something stupid.

But enough is enough. ENOUGH. Go back to right after the draft and look at these quotes

This fanbase is broken right now, man. We can’t get anything right. There hasn’t been a move that’s gotten this fanbase excited in years. We haven’t won a playoff game since the 2012 Super Bowl. We screwed up the Coughlin/McAdoo coaching transition and then McAdoo became the bad guy with slicked back hair.

And now with two top-20 picks and needs pretty much everywhere the Giants reached for a QB at 6 and took a run stuffer at 17. The fact that Josh Allen was sitting there at 6 and passing on him is something I’m sure what come back to haunt this franchise. Not to mention that no one took a QB until Haskins and the Redskins. You could have had two guys you graded the same!

Whatever, when the Giants took Daniel Jones all of us talked ourselves into this plan. One year of Eli and then let Jones take over, unless the Giants stink again this year. Then just let Jones get his reps. That is until John Mara starts to speak.

You want to be addressed and have a say in the QB change? Why? You hire supposed football guys to do this. You’re simply an owner and make business decisions. Yeah, nice recovery saying that Shurmur will make the decision, but we all know how this goes. If Mara doesn’t like it, Shurmur is out.

And then he brings up the fact the Giants have 1 winning season in 2016. Guess who is at fault for that? Mara, for a large part. Well him and the front office. You have to make decisions to put the best guys on the field. There’s been no direction. You want to go all out and try to win, commit to that. You want to rebuild? Commit to that.

Oh and don’t take Eli fucking Apple and Ereck goddamn Flowers in the top-10. How did this franchise become such a laughingstock?
