This Is Not A Drill! Chick-Fil-A Has Officially Added Mac & Cheese To Its Menu

Patch- One of America’s most popular fast-food chain has its first new permanent menu item since 2016. On Monday, Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A said its mac and cheese item is now available nationwide. The item is available as a side option with any lunch, dinner, Kid’s Meal or catering order at Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A said the item is a classic macaroni and cheese recipe, featuring a blend of cheeses including cheddar, parmesan and Romano. It is baked in restaurant each day.

Lets send it to Atlanta to see how the Chick-Fil-A cows are reacting to this groundbreaking story:

It’s a hell of a day at Bovine University! Because not since Kevin Durant joined the Warriors has the world seen such a perfect addition to an already stacked superteam as Chick-Fil-A adding mac and cheese to their full-time menu. You can talk until you are blue in the face about classic recipes, the blends of cheeses, and how it’s fresh baked every day. But if a Southern restaurant cooks mac and cheese, it is instantly a Must Try in my mind. Doubly so when it’s a restaurant that is on my Fast Food Mount Rushmore with signature sauce so good, I may or may not have dipped my fingers in the packet to eat it once I ran out of food. Like this quote audibly made me laugh out loud when I read it.

Mac & Cheese was tested in five markets and passed with flying colors. “We have a very high bar when it comes to adding a menu item,” said Amanda Norris, executive director of menu and packaging, “but the feedback from our customers in the test markets made this decision easy.”

Lets translate that God-fearing marketing jargon into regular talk using the patented Barstool Sports Real Talk Machine™.

“Yeah no shit we added Mac & Cheese to the menu because we are fucking Chick-Fil-A, we make awesome food, and what American doesn’t love mac and cheese or Chick-Fil-A? We actually lost money testing this out in markets instead of just putting it in stores and watching you shove it down your throats. You’re welcome. Have a nice day!”

Those Chick-Fil-A people are always so polite!

Also while I am excited to try this delectable dish, I am going to politely ask from Chick-Fil-A to take it easy with the mac and cheese commercials this college football season. Because even though I love Chick-Fil-A with all of my overworked heart, even I get sick of the repetitiveness of their commercials even as a casual college football fan that watches about 1/10 the amount of college football as the savages/degenerates in this office. Don’t make me get sick of mac and cheese because of the deluge of mac and cheese commercials whenever I can escape the family long enough on Saturday to watch some pigskin.

In other fast food news, Wendy’s brought #back Spicy Nuggets today.

Add that news with the aforementioned mac and cheese news, and we are officially two steps closer to mankind perfecting life as we know it.

This is Clem and that was your fastest two minutes in food.

Blogger’s Note: I had no idea where those gifs were from when I found them looking for a gif of a cow slowly taking off sunglasses, but I knew they would play with the Barstool crowd. Turns out they are from a music video called “Mooo!” by someone named Doja Cat, both of which I’ve never heard of until today.

However, I also learned that this video has over 50 million views, thus hammering home just how washed I am. So thanks for that, Chick-Fil-A. At least your mac and cheese will wash away a good chunk of the pain
