I think I’ve seen Guida’s coach come close to knocking him out pre-fight! You gotta be careful with aging fighters, man! I guess it is a bit more jarring to watch a dude smacking a chick (to pump her up), though, even if said chick is about to go barbarically fight for her life in a steel cage. It’s just a little “get your head in the game” move! And you know what? It worked! She went out there and worked Tecia Torres for three straight rounds! So maybe they should try this across more sports. Imagine Belicheck just smacking the shit outta Tom before a big game? Would be hilarious.
