Dabo Swinney Says Kelly Bryant Didn't Get A National Championship Ring Because "You've Gotta Be On The Team To Get a Ring"

Was this even a question….? Kelly Bryant quit on his team. He lost his starting job, and he transferred out. I don't care that he started the first four games of the season. I do not care that he was 16-2 as a starter at Clemson. He does not deserve a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ring and there's no question about it, right?  I hate when the internet stirs up controversy for no reason. No one with a brain could honestly think that Kelly Bryant should get a ring for Clemson beating Bama while he was sitting at home. But of course, this is the internet we're dealing with. These idiots are saying Dabo is in the wrong here!

Oh my goodness. It's not like Dabo sent him packing. He wasn't cut or traded. He chose to quit! I understand his decision making and reasoning behind it, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. Kelly Bryant chose to leave the Clemson program. There is a 0% chance I would give him a ring. Besides, would Kelly Bryant even want a ring?

Last month, Bryant told ESPN he still keeps in contact with some of his Tigers teammates and would accept a ring if offered.

Oh my god. Get outta here. Now I'm starting to see why he left Clemson in the first place. He's not a true competitor! You called it a "slap in the face" to lose the job, and now you want a ring? I hope if I leave Barstool tomorrow, Dave and Erika still give me my Christmas bonus!
