Traitor: Mark Wahlberg Ditching The Patriots For A Funkier Bunch

Has Mark Wahlberg, son of Boston & star of The Departeddeparted his beloved Patriots?

The Wahlburgers reality show just ended after 10 seasons & now he's making moves in Texas? Is he abandoning Boston all together? Normally I'd say that's the best move anyone could make, but then you find out he may be going from the Patriots to Dallas fandom? This is the worst choice he's made since that Men's Journal interview where among other things he dropped the quote, "I don't get down with jerking off, dude."

From an interview at Cowboys training camp this week:

Mark Wahlberg: I get to open up a Whalburgers in Dallas. My first one in Texas. I don't have one at Gillette. I got one right here in Frisco, Texas... I'm excited. That's a lotta love. I might have to change my blue.
Press member: Is that right?
Mark Wahlberg: Well, I tell ya. That's a lotta love. A lotta love there. You know? I know where I eat. No, I'm just really excited.

He then noted that the Cowboys are playing the Patriots this year, and that it would be a win-win if they went to the Super Bowl against each other because it'd be stress free for him.

I'm no fan of the Patriots but I've always especially hated the Cowboys. For me it started in 3rd grade with a rat-tailed haircut kid on my bus who wore his Cowboys Starter Jacket every day & was so generally obnoxious that he drove the rest of us nuts. Turns out that's just the general vibe for all of those fans, so I'm disappointed in Mark.

I asked Glenny what he thinks of this shift & he gives this Whalburger move 1.2 balls.
