Trea Turner Became Just The 26th Player To Hit For Multiple Cycles In Their Career

When healthy, Trea Turner is the most electric player in baseball. No doubt about that. The speed, the power, the ability to swipe a base at any time he wants, he’s must-watch when he’s at bat. And that’s how in just 420 (nice) major league games he now has hit for the cycle twice, a feat only 25 other players have done. Pretty remarkable. And what is really crazy is…ok, wait. Guess what the major league record for most cycles in a career is? Going way back to the 1800s n shit. Ready? It’s…..3!!!! Only 3. How insane is that? I thought someone back in the 1880s or 1920s or whatever would have churned out some cycles, but nope. It’s 3. Trea Turner has a very real chance of breaking that record before his career is over. Shit, he could already be at 3 if he stayed healthy back in 2016 and ’17. I want this on record now- he will retire with at least 3. It will happen. He’s too good and too fast. It will happen. And hopefully against the Rockies. Imagine if all 3 came against the Rockies? What an anomaly.

PS: This team is probably going to win the World Series.
