Matthew Wolff Gets His First PGA Tour Win In Just His Third Pro Start WITH AN EAGLE ON 18

So yeah, the Matthew Wolff hype is real folks. Very very real. The dude with funky swing from Oklahoma State can flat out play. What an insane stretch of events we just witnessed. It all started when Wolff and Collin Morikawa stepped onto the par-5 18 tee at -19.

This was after Morikawa had a BRUTAL lip out on 17 that would’ve put him atop the leaderboard at -20 (and would’ve allowed him to get to -21 and into a playoff with Wolff but let’s not get ahead of ourselves)

Wolff and Morikawa each set themselves up nicely on 18 where it looked like they’d both have a look at eagle but would likely make birdie and head to a playoff at -20.

Then our guy Bryson DeChambeau posted a score of -20 with his own eagle on the 72nd hole

So at the very least Bryson thought he was gonna be in a playoff with Wolff or Morikawa or both.

But then Wolff made this lengthyyyyyyyyyy eagle to get to -21 (let’s watch it again because it’s that fucking awesome)

Bryson was stunned to say the least

Morikawa missed his eagle putt on 18 and that was that
