There’s literally no better feeling. I’m told sex is better but I cannot confirm that, so the feeling of buying into the Main Event will have to do for now. Maybe if I win it I can afford the whole sex thing, but that’s neither here nor there. I got off track. Where was I? Oh yeah, I am freakin’ REGISTERED for my 3rd straight MAIN EVENT.
It still doesn’t seem real. Big thank you to Play MGM Poker for this one. If you live in New Jersey click this link
to get $25 FREE on registration and a 100% deposit match up to $1,000 released at 10% when you register with code BARSTOOL It’s pretty simple, you’re going to play online any bet online anyway, might as well use what Barstool uses and get free money in the process.
How am I feeling? Well to be honest, I’m sad. My friend Smitty was knocked out in the 3rd level yesterday. That’s my pal. My friend and my confidant. So to make up for it, I’m giving away 2.1% of any Main Event cash I make to 1 person who follows my friend Smitty’s instructions in this Tweet:
So if you’re in NJ, make sure you RT and drop your username on PlayMGM in his mentions and when I cash we’ll pick someone to give like, a zillion dollars to.
Disclaimer: Must be 21+. New Jersey Only. Deposit match released at 10% rate. For full terms and conditions visit playMGM.com
That all aside, I’m fired up and ready to play. It kicks off around noon west coast time, and I’ll be updating on the Cracking Aces
We also have done a few great interviews while out here, so look for those coming next week, including with the great Galen Hall and with the GOAT himself, Fedor Holz
It’s time like these I wish poker was a little more mainstream, because talking to Fedor is like…getting Peyton Manning in his prime? Or I don’t even know..Tom Brady? It’s hard to make comparisons like that, but from 2013-2017 Fedor won EVERYTHING there was to win. I mean we’ve had on Negreanu, Moneymaker, Merson, etc…and now Fedor. It’s hard to get guests as big as these. So check out the pod if you haven’t yet, and be sure to subscribe for when these WSOP episodes drop.
So yeah, it’s currently 8:06 am. Maybe I’ll try and get a little more sleep before going to play, but I’m feeling good. 10 hours of poker today and a 90 minute dinner break makes for a long day on the felt. My goal is to put some chips in a bag and come back for day 2 on Sunday. Follow along and let’s make some magic.
