Angels Pitcher Tyler Skaggs Passed Away At The Age Of 27 Today

Crazy news coming out of Texas today with the announcement that Tyler Skaggs has died. I saw this story come across Twitter amidst all the news, memes, and jokes that go along with NBA/NHL free agency and this report hit like a punch to the gut. Tonight’s Angels-Rangers game has already been postponed and the cause of death is not yet known.

Skaggs was 27 years old when he passed away, which is far too young for anyone but especially the case for someone that just got married last offseason, seemed like a genuinely good person, and was a pitcher with legit stuff living his dream in The Show.
