Khabib Numagomedov's Next Fight Is Official

It’s official, ladies and gentlemen – the number one division in all of mixed martial arts will finally have a unified champion on September 7th.

Going back years now, the 155lb Champion in the UFC has been a bit murky…mostly thanks to Conor McGregor. He won the gold off Eddie Alvarez in November 2016, and took a couple years off immediately, causing interim champions and title strippings and interim champions and title strippings and rinse and motherfucking repeat, over and over and over again.

When Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor actually squared off in the octagon last October, we received clarity, and “The Eagle” unified the belts, but that was short-lived thanks to the post-fight brawl that broke out afterwards. Khabib got suspended, and the division full of sharks was once again in need of an interim title, won by Dustin Poirier a few months back. BUUUUUUUT NOW…our champions will face off in Abu Dhabi, and provide us clarity once more, allowing the division to move on.

Hopefully Khabib shows up. Lines currently have him at -360.
