Bale? Damon? Car racing??? Sign me all the way up. This reminds me of 2013’s ‘Rush’ which was an awesome movie as well (RIP Niki Lauda). In fact, I’m willing to preemptively crown this movie the best film of 2019. On a completely unrelated note, this is also a Peter Chernin joint. It stars Christian Bale (The Dark Knight), Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting), Caitriona Balfe (Outlander), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Ray McKinnon (Deadwood) and Josh Lucas (A Beautiful Mind). James Mangold (Logan, Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma) is directing and co-wrote the script with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth (Edge of Tomorrow) as well as Jason Keller (Escape Plan).
