I HATE THIS TWEET BY ANTHONY JOSHUA

Listen I understand that in today’s society sportsmanship is all the rage.  That lots of people will probably finger themselves to this tweet. But guess what it made me want to puke.  I also think it may help explain how Joshua lost last night.   It’s like the quote that Teddy Atlas keeps referencing from Marvin Hagler

The fire is clearly gone from Anthony Joshua.  He’s lost his wings.  Like it’s one thing to lose to a huge underdog, but then to take smiling pictures and call Ruiz “champ” 5 minutes after you just got knocked out?   Yikes.   I want my champs to be furious.  I want him instantly demanding a rematch.  Break shit.  Do something.   Do anything that shows you care.   Don’t throw a parade for the guy who just beat you.   Yeah it’s great sportsmanship but it also has no place in boxing.
