Jon Moxley's AEW Debut At 'Double Or Nothing' Was Fucking Awesome

Over the weekend, All Elite Wrestling held their very first show – ‘Double or Nothing’ – in Las Vegas, Nevada at the MGM Grand, and Jon Moxley (FKA Dean Ambrose) capped the night off in a truly unhinged fashion when he made his presence known by delivering not one, not two, but THREE double-arm DDTs to Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and…the referee of the night’s closing contest. Afterwards, he cut a promo on the whole affair, and declared war in one of the most badass, Moxley ways possible…

…and honestly, Moxley’s debut and following promo wasn’t the only thing that was fucking awesome about ‘Double or Nothing’…everything about ‘Double or Nothing’ was fucking awesome. Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks’ first show went off without a hitch, and definitely made a statement worth looking into.

WWE’s response was, well, probably the worst episode of Monday Night RAW I’ve ever seen, one that didn’t even feature a lick of wrestling for the first forty-five minutes of it, and a quick lil shoutout from our pal Sami Zayn!

Let the games begin, I suppose!

I spoke a ton more about All Elite Wrestling and this pay-per-view on my podcast, My Mom’s Basement, this week, so if you’re interested in hearing more about the event, please consider listening!
