A Woman Had Her Perfectly Healthy Dog Put To Sleep So That They Could Be Buried Together

AP News- Veterinarians and funeral homes in Virginia are rejecting the idea that pets should be buried with their owners after a recent case in which a healthy dog was euthanized so it could lie with her owner.

WWBT-TV in Richmond reports workers at one animal shelter tried to talk the executor of the estate out of the plan. They failed and the Shih Tzu mix named Emma was euthanized and cremated. The dog’s ashes were placed in an urn and given to the estate’s representative.

Well fuck this story straight to hell. I’d wish an eternity of damnation and fire against this woman, but there’s no telling if the poor pooch will have to suffer with her down there. Ideally, they’ll encounter some sort of “This Is The End” system that separates Emma from her evil, dead owner. All dogs go to heaven, right? Except pit bulls that eat children’s faces. And that’s most of ‘em because they’re all on bath salts.

This really is absurd. How is it possible to euthanize a perfectly healthy dog to appease the selfish wishes of a dead lady? Doesn’t that violate some sort of law? Hey PETA, leave Gucci alone and come deal with this please?

The correct move here is to let the dog finish its happy life with another family. Then, when it dies, you can bury it next to its original owner. That’s fine. I wouldn’t pry up her casket, crack it open, and stuff the dog corpse in with her rotting bones. That’s dark as hell. But side-by-side tombstones should suffice.
