Wild Story About A Guy Using A DNA Test To Prove He's The Rightful Heir To A $63 MILLION Dollar Mansion
Source – A dirt-poor British day laborer inherited a $63 million countryside mansion — thanks to a DNA test that proved he was the son of a late aristocrat.
Jordan Adlard-Rogers was struggling to pay his bills when he realized his rich family roots — and that the stunning 1,536-acre Penrose Estate in Cornwall belonged to him, The Sun reported.
Since he was 8 years old, Adlard-Rogers suspected that he was reclusive blue blood Charles Rogers’ son. Adlard-Rogers’ mom, Julie Adlard, had gotten pregnant during a brief fling with Rogers when she was 20, according to the Daily Mail.
Adlard-Rogers — a dead ringer for his biological father — spent years trying to connect with Rogers and prove their familial bond through a DNA test.
“He offered to do a DNA test when I was younger, but it didn’t happen, and then when I was 18, I knocked on his door and asked if I could have the test, and he told me to do it through the solicitors,” Adlard-Rogers explained. “I was 18 so had other priorities at the time.”

It wasn’t until last year, when Rogers sent another letter requesting a DNA test, that he learned his drug-addicted father had recently died at the age of 62 from an overdose.
The aging eccentric hardly took care of himself — he was malnourished, didn’t bathe and rarely changed his clothes, The Sun said. He lived in his car that was parked on his sprawling estate, where he died.
He, girlfriend Katie Hubber and their son Joshua have moved into the estate, while the newly minted millionaire has been showing off life’s finer things on social media — including a Mercedes car and $400 Adidas Predator sneakers.

If he were smart he’d sell the mansion and live out the rest of his years in modest luxury, but something tells me he’s on the fast track to being broke. It took him what – a week to start showing off on social media?
Regardless, it’s a wild story. The guy was trying to prove he was related to his father his entire life and when he finally did he got a $63 million mansion along with it. It’s also kind of sad…
“Charles never actually lived in the estate. He lived in one of the estate’s farmhouses, as his mum lived there. They died two weeks apart,” said Adlard-Rogers. “It had got to the point when he gave up on himself and was living in his car instead of his house, as it was such a mess.”
Still, there’s one void in Adlard-Rogers’ life that money can’t fill.
“People say I’m lucky, but I would trade anything to be able to go back and for Charles to know I was his son,” he said. “Maybe then he might have taken a different path.”
