Source – A fraternity at Long Island’s Hofstra University has been suspended from campus activities after a video surfaced that shows two members forcing a dog to drink beer, the school said.
The members of Alpha Epsilon Pi can be seen in a short Snapchat video holding the animal upside down while pouring beer into the pup’s mouth — a stunt commonly referred to as a “keg stand,” according to school officials.

I don’t think we’ll ever get to a place where fraternities stop doing stupid things. It’s one horror story after another. This isn’t that bad, but you still have to be a fucking moron to feed a dog beer at a frat party. Obviously someone is going to film it and obviously you’re going to get in trouble. It doesn’t matter if the dog drank the beer or not. It doesn’t matter if his tail was wagging. People love dogs and hate frats. You’re going to lose in that situation ten times out of ten.
The school released a statement regarding the incident:
“The behavior seen on the video is unacceptable and in violation of the University’s Code of Community Standards,” the spokeswoman, Karla Schuster, said in a statement.
“The University has been in communication with Alpha Epsilon Pi International headquarters, as well as with chapter members regarding this off-campus incident. In accordance with University policy, the chapter has been placed on interim suspension pending an investigation.”
I don’t know what else there is to investigate; he gave the dog a beer. That’s pretty much it. It’s not like he shot it in the face. Regardless, the fraternity still needs to be suspended for stupidity if nothing else.
I feel worse for the girl who tweeted out the video. She’s going have ZERO friends once people find out who she is. No chance anyone is inviting her to a party the rest of her college career.
“Maybe they shouldn’t have done this & then we wouldn’t be here. thank you :)” Give me a fucking break. If I were her I’d just transfer. Thoughts and prayers to the dog. He’s never going to get another sip of beer in his life.
