Apparently Nate Diaz Is Ready To Return To The Octagon, And Will Be Doing So Versus Anthony Pettis This Summer
So take this with a grain of salt, because Nate Diaz decides he’s ready to return, books a fight, and then doesn’t show up to said fight a couple times a year, but Brett Okamoto of ESPN (MMA’s #1 journalist) is now reporting that the Stockton native has verbally agreed to a bout with Anthony Pettis on UFC 241 in Anaheim, a card headlined by Daniel Cormier vs Stipe Miocic II this August.
If this is true, well…
…but as of right now, I’m just gonna stay calm, cool, and composed, as to not get my hopes up and have my heart broken all over again.
If it winds up looking like it’s really gonna happen, though, I’ll tell ya this – I will do EVERYTHING in my power to get Nate on the podcast along with his childhood friend (and a good friend of mine), Dallas Braden. Preferably IN Stockton for the whole experience. Feel like that’d be fucking tremendous.
