It Would Appear That NOBODY Wants Kyrie Irving. Except Me. The Bulls Should Go After Kyrie This Summer

It’s one day after the Celtics got embarrassed by the Bucks and all of a sudden NOBODY seems to want Kyrie Irving

It seems like Boston and New York are in a battle to see who can want Kyrie Irving the least. And I get it. That Celtics team seemed like a clusterfuck for an entire year and they were way more of a cohesive unit last year without Kyrie. The Celtics had too many guys that needed the ball. Kyrie was brought in there to be the alpha, but it’s hard to be the alpha when your team is better without you.

So if the Knicks fans don’t want him, and the Celtics fans don’t want him then well…where can he go?

I googled “where will Kyrie sign” and there was an article that listed 8 different teams and didn’t mention the Bulls, but the Bulls do have money, it’s a major city, Kyrie can be “the man” and the biggest missing piece to the lineup is point guard. If the Bulls roll out a starting 5 of:

Kyrie

Lavine

Porter

Lauri

Wendell Carter

that would be a pretty good looking team and that’s not even counting the top 5 pick coming in this draft. Now, Kyrie obviously seems like a real dickhead and the Bulls are…well, they’re a fucking disaster, but I think in some crazy way this could actually fit. The Bulls get a dynamic star point guard to tie all of this together. Mostly, I think I am desperate for the Bulls to do ANYTHING exciting. I feel like this might be the only place that really embraces Kyrie of the possible destinations and it would get the Bulls back to a level of respectability that they haven’t had in years.
