I Hope Drake Feels Like A Big Strong Man For Mocking A Violently Ill Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid was practically on his deathbed last night in Toronto. The man has been sick for days, had to get on a plane to travel from Philly to Toronto, and still managed to tough it out enough to get on the floor for game 5. Any normal human would have just stayed back home. Any normal human wouldn’t have even been able to get out of bed in the morning. But not Joel Embiid. Sure, he didn’t have a great game and it was probably ill-advised of the Sixers’ medical staff to make him available for that game. But Joel Embiid showed one thing last night for sure, and that’s heart.
So for somebody like Aubrey Graham to turn around and then mock Joel Embiid as he exits the game that he clearly shouldn’t have even been allowed to play in the first place? It’s just gutless, cowardly, and classless. You would think that a guy who is only famous because he portrayed a character in a wheelchair on a children’s show would have a little more class than to mock somebody who isn’t able to perform physically at 100%. But I guess that’s just not the kind of guy who Drake is. I wish I could say that I’m surprised but I’m not. He’s a fake tough guy who loves to puff up his chest when things are going good but then sneaks off into the shadows the moment that things start to go poorly.
