Congratulations To The Philadelphia Flyers, Who Now Lead The NHL In Most Amount Of Head Coaches

Listen. It’s like I’ve always said–why hire one really good guy to do a job when you can just get 3 kind of okay guys to do that same job together? I mean you look at what all 3 of these guys have been able to accomplish throughout their tenures as head coaches in the National Hockey League. Alain Vigneault has lost the Stanley Cup Final twice with two different teams–once with Vancouver in 2011, and once with the Rangers in 2014. Michel Therrien lost the Stanley Cup Final in 2008 with the Pittsburgh Penguins. And Mike Yeo has lost in the 2nd round a bunch of times.

You combine all 3 of those guys together and you get one NHL version of Andy Reid, kind of. But instead of just having one guy, they now have three. I’m not sure how many of you out there are mathematicians, but 3 is greater than 1. So suck on that, you bitch ass haters. Everybody out there is laughing at this coaching staff but how many head coaches does your favorite NHL team have? I bet it’s not more than the Flyers have. So shut your goddamn mouths and just pray your team doesn’t find themselves in the Flyers’ path this upcoming year.

And I’ll tell you what. This is just some next level thinking by the Flyers’ executives. Because what they’ve been able to accomplish here is pretty much a fool proof plan in case they need to fire a head coach in the middle of a season. Just think back on what happened during this current NHL season. So many head coaches got the ax and so many teams had to scramble around to find an interim head coach to replace him. But not the Flyers. Because they already have a built-in fail safe. If the Flyers need to fire Alain Vigneault in the middle of the season, Michel Therrien is already there to replace him the same way that AV replaced Therrien in Montreal. And then if the Flyers need to fire Michel Therrien, Mike Yeo is already there to replace him.

The Flyers are out here playing chess while the rest of the world is playing Uno. The Stanley Cup parade is going to be so much sweeter knowing that all of you jackasses out there are going to end up looking like idiots for shitting on this coaching staff.
