Jimmy Butler Won't Change His Ways, Continues To Yell At His Teammates

Wow. Jimmy Butler. Real locker room cancer, huh? Such an overpowering ego. Way too much of a “me” guy. Always has to be “the man”. Didn’t the Philadelphia 76ers men’s professional basketball team know what they were getting into when they traded for this guy? All he ever does is scream at his teammates.

And it totally worked out.

Jimmy Butler, man. I’ll be honest. I’m not 100% sure how NBA contracts work. There are maxes and super maxes and luxury taxes and all this other shit that I just go along with even though I’m not entirely sure what they are. With that being said, I think the Sixers should offer up at least 3 super maxes plus all the luxury tax in the world to Jimmy Butler this offseason. Because this team has their superstars in Joel Embiid and (potentially) Ben Simmons. What both of those guys are able to do on both ends of the floor is incredible. But Jimmy “Definitely Not James” Butler? That man right there is the leader. Embiid is the heart of the operation. Ben Simmons is the brains of the operation. And Jimmy Butler is the balls of the operation.

The Sixers brought Jimmy Butler in because they needed somebody who could close out big games. And he’s done that plenty of times already for the team. But last night he realized that Jo had the hot hand and instead of trying to be the guy, he just kept screaming at Embiid to shoot the 3 and take the boys home. Almost as if his ego wasn’t the issue in Minnesota, but rather the lack of hungry competitors surrounding him there. Just something to think about.

(I can’t promise that this will be the last blog about PHI/TOR game 3 today. Sorry)
