Usually when people go on late night tv they’re trying to promote something. Brady talked about his two year old book for 30 seconds in the middle of this interview, seemingly just to warn everyone that his arm feels stronger than ever. He was not there to promote his book. He was there simply to warn the rest of the world that #7 was en route and that resistance is futile. He’s been training harder than ever. His kids are getting dominated in every game of jacks and hopscotch played in the family driveway. The only thing I didn’t appreciate about this interview was Jimmy trying to fuck up the Patriots salary cap situation by telling Tom he’s underpaid. Luckily in typical Tom fashion he crushed that softball out of the park. Much like he crushed Matt Damon’s window to smithereens.
