Well that video absolutely ruled. It comes from The Big 3 Combine and I could not stop laughing as Gary Payton reminded everyone he’s a Hall Of Famer while also missing every shot he took. That’s a level of irrational confidence you can’t teach. I mean he wasn’t even close on a majority of those threes. He was just a career 31% three point shooter so I can’t be too mad at him. Even if I’m still mad at Jason Terry for never hitting a single three during his entire Celtics tenure, you’d to be a fool to challenge that man to a three point shooting contest. He’s 5th all time in 3PM and a career 38% shooter. You’re just asking to lose your money by doing something so foolish.

I’ll be honest, I got sort of lost at times during all the commotion but I could watch Gary Payton go crazy and talk that shit for hours and hours. There’s a reason he’s considered the one of the greatest shit talkers in NBA history and we got a little preview of it in that video. And while he’s old and washed up now and lost this competition, let’s not forget how nasty Gary Payton was during his playing days.
